The Three Resistant Internet Advertising Secrets

Drawing traffic to a website is nolonger a secret. However, It is believed that with internet marketing, the speed at which innovations change is three times faster than the way things change in normal life. This is why you will hear about one superb internet marketing strategy or trick and within three months it is no longer effective. That is how fast things change in internet marketing.

Fortunately, with all that speed,Three strategies have continued to work effectively throught a number of years and if you incoperate them in your website marketing strategy, they will form a basis for your online success.

So what are the three startegies that have stood the test of time since their invention or discovery? One is the use of PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising, such as Google Adwords. PPC (with well written ads) will drive you targeted traffic instantly. The only drawback is that it will cost you money (as much as you are willing to pay), but there are some techniques to drive more clicks for less money.

To learn how to use Adwords in a way that will drive you a lot of traffic for less money, I suggest the Google Cash guide. Another recommended guide is Rich Jerk guide. It teaches many useful web marketing techniques in a very humorous but effective way.

It is not recommended to try Adwords campaign without any basic knowledge. If you make mistakes (such as choosing the wrong keywords, the wrong countries or the wrong ads) Google will penalize you by rising your clicks cost, so don't even consider to try a campaign before reading an expert Google guide.

The second strategy to draw traffic to your website is to use viral marketing.

This is by far one of the most effective techniques you can use to drive traffic to your website. But it requires hard work at the start and alot of patience.Viral marketing is like wordof mouth in the ofline marketing. An example is where by X will learn about your great product or service and then inform his friend Y who will then inform his friend z.But it is rare that X will inform only Y. He will iform more than one individual. So your customer base will grow exponentially. But how do you start viral marketing?

There are many ways to do this. Some include: -Write a book on a topic related to your product or service. Inside the ebook, include links to your website. Then give this book out for free and give who ever downloads it the right to give it away for free on their website. For even effective results, design promotional materials such as banners, text links and others that they can use to easily give away your ebook. This will spread a virus accross the internet that will gradually explode the traffic to your website.

-Design a free but useful software and give it away for free just like the ebook above. You do not neccessarily have to develope this software on your own. You can out source people to design it for you. My favourite places to get software designers is Rentacoder.com, elance and many other places if you check on google.

-join viral marketing websites such as freeviral.com. These will also help you in starting your viral campaign. The only problem is that these are now over saturated and it may be hard to raise a significant number of traffic from these.

To learn how to effectively use viral marketing and the latest developements in viral marketing,I suggest you first read and try out the viral marketing chemistry set by mark Joyner and Telman. When viral marketing is used effectively, It can really bring you alot of traffic and targeted traffic in this case.

The third effective strategy to draw traffic to your website is to use Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

SEO requires more work, and some patience. It won't drive you traffic instantly but it has a great advantage over PPC - once your site is optimized and reach a top place in organic search engines, you will receive tons of traffic for free!

Organic search results (Visitors from search engines) are considered by most people as more reliable than sponsored results, so they drive more sells.

A well optimized site would take several months to reach a top position (depends on the keywords used and the level of competition).

Gaining a high rank is done by analyzing the competition's sites SEO properties for your main keywords, and trying to copy their methods and do a little bit better to out rank them.

1. Onpage Optimization

2. Offpage Optimization

Onpage factors include:

Title - The title of the page should include your main keywords and be as short as possible to give them more weight.

Header Tags - You should include your main keywords within header tags, particularly the H1 tag which is usually simply the title of your content. Other keywords should appear in sub-headings, which are your H2 tags. You should also bold and underline these titles containing your keywords.

Keyword Density - You should include your main keywords as often as possible without making the content seem spammy or nonsensical.

Meta Tags / Descriptions - You should use meta tags to write a description of your webpage's content. This will not appear on the actual webpage, but in the description in the search engine results. It should be compelling so visitors click on the link to your site, as well as including your main keywords for optimization purposes.

Image Tags - If you have any graphics on your site, you should include your main keywords in the alt tag of each image.

Offpage Optimization:

While onpage optimization is still something you should do, it's NOT what will get you high search engine rankings. It's the offpage optimization factors that will.Offpage Optimisation forms the bigest percentage of a website SEO campaign. This is where most of the time goes and where patience is stretched. This can basically be summed up in one word- LINKS.

Google, and most other search engines, place great emphasis on both the quality and quantity of inward links to your site. You want to get as many links as possible, but you should place more emphasis on getting quality links from sites similar in subject to your own, and from pages with high page rank (PR).

Offpage parameters include:
- Which websites link to you
- The number of websites linking to you
- The PR of the website linking to you
- The page title of the website linking to you
- The anchor text used in the link linking to you
- The number and type of links linking to the website that's linking to you
- The number of outbound links on the website that is linking to you
- The total number of links on the website that is linking to you
- Whether or not the websites linking to you are deemed by Google as an authority website.

Doing search engine optimization can be done manually, but it is very time consuming. There are several programs that automate SEO processes.

I personally use WebCEO and SEO Elite. These software will allow you to analyze your competition for any keyword, and will tell you what sites link to them, their respective PR, how valuable each link is in terms of SEO, contact address of link partner and much more. This will enable you to contact these good link partners yourself and get them to link to your site as well. The software will also allow you to find link partners for any keyword of your choice, as well as checking that all your current link partners are still linking back to you. It will also tell you where you rank in the major search engines for any given keyword.

Utilizing Website Marketing Space

or What Can Your 401, 404 etc. Error Pages Do For You
posted by steven j. ram, antroar internet marketing

Does your website have error pages like 401 Unauthorized or 404 Page not Found etc.? Well if you do you have some mighty good marketing space available to you without even trying. It's the same with thankyou pages. When someone signs up for your newsletter or even when someone purchases products or services they'll end up on a thankyou page of some description.

These pages are also your marketing gold pages. I'm not suggesting you hit the visitor with slam bam marketing banners or anything of the like, but what I am saying is that you have a great chance utilizing these pages as teaser snippets for your websites marketing ideas.

Using a small teaser to extol the virtues of a service you have or an extra product that might go with the one that has just recently been purchased can increase your sales dramatically, by accident, on purpose.

Personally speaking, I've increased our free seo report visitors by 5% in the last 2 weeks using this type of internet marketing strategy. I do not hammer the visitor into buying or browsing anything, I just let them know there's more if they want it, in a nice, polite way. As all internet marketing participants should.

Here's a list of current error pages that could be used to add that little extra something to your website marketing experience.

Learn what Internet Marketing IS .. Stage 2.

Posted by steven j. ram, antRoar online marketing

Link Popularity:
Absolutely more important than the best SEO implemented is link popularity by far. Link popularity is the number of web sites that currently link to your site. The more relative inbound links your web site has the higher your site is going to rank in the major search engines. Linking with just any web site is not going to get you anywhere.

If fact, to link to just any other website may inflict a negative rank. In simple terms, having lots of inbound link from various web sites not related to or themed as your site is will give the SE robots the artificial notion that your site is probably spamming or that your web site is a link farm. If the SE robot evaluates your site to be a linking farm of any description then you will be banned permanently. Enough of the bad news, now for the positive stuff.

There are several free ways you can increase your number of inbound links to your site. Submit your site to free directories and search engines, or join a reputable link exchange service like Link Market and trade links with other sites that are related to yours. Another way is to write articles and press releases and submit them to article directories. Webmasters looking for free content place your article on their site, which in turn links back to your website.

Note: Always check to make sure your article of content retains it's link to your web site. Do this by manual checks, it's the only way to track just what is going on regarding your inbound links.

Pay Per Click:
Ok, if your not the type to be patient and want search engine results straight away you need to run a PPC (pay per click) advertising campaign. PPC allows you to purchase clicks relatively cheap or for little outlay. Of course this all depends on the keywords or keyphrases you want to target. With 2-3 billion other web pages on the internet, it's obvious that another web site wanting the same keywords or keyphrases as yours will pay to beat you and you'll do the same to get top positions for your ppc ads.

It's worth noting here that a healthy budget is paramount. In other words, you must have cash to splash otherwise you'll be spending dollars for little return in order to attract visitors and customers to your web site over a period of time, a matter of a few days not months.

Google AdWords, AdSense and Yahoo's Advertiser are some very good ppc starting points. Both have exceptional options for running ppc ads and both are highly targeted by businesses online. They both have millions of surfers searching every day for products and services so their market share outweighs all other search engines combined for customer markets. Of course if your targeting a local area, then by all means run a ppc with your local SE. Advantages, very cheap rates and a target market already exists.

Hope this article has been of some service to you. For me personally, I'm glad to help out.

Learn what Internet Marketing IS .. Stage 1.

posted by steven j. ram, antRoar online marketing

Do you have a struggling internet business? If you do then you are most likely facing the daunting task of how to attract visitors to your website and get them to stay awhile, at a price you can afford. Internet marketing is a challenge, and it takes years of experience and persistence. There are many affordable ways to get traffic to your site. Sign up for our newsletter to get some of those for free. For now tho, we'll outline the most practical ways for you to market your online business without having to spend a great deal of money.

Search Engine Submission:
One of the most important tasks is search engine submission and optimization. There are many different search engines and directories on the internet where you can submit your web site to. You need to sign up for a monthly submission plan with a credible search engine submission service, like ours Submit URL's or search the term "search engines" in Google or Yahoo and click every result you can and submit your web site yourself, one by one. There are hundreds of submission services on the internet and choosing the right one is surely a hit and miss affair, but, if you have the time to check most possibilities then you'll do yourself a favour.

Note: Beware of submission services that claim to be able to submit your site to 75,000 search engines. There isn't 75,000 search engines. These unscrupulous submitters will submit your website to FFA pages and bogus link pages that can actually get you banned permanently from the major SE players, like Google, Yahoo, Windows Live & MSN. You should only do business with submission services that submit only to the major search engines and directories and also, that explain how they do this. An automated service is suspect and can cause black hat problem for you. What you are looking for is a service that explains they submit your web site by hand, one by one.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Search engine optimization (SEO) is even more important. To optimize a site, you need to maximize your keyword key-phrase density on your main page, usually index.html or relative extension and optimize the positioning for the words or phrases for which you want to be listed. You also need to use proper Meta tags, as in, title, description and keyword tags located in the head of your web page document, so that the search engines can interpret your web pages and list them accordingly.

If you do not know how to optimize your web site, you should search for an optimization consultant on Google or use us. Keep well away from so called SEO experts as this term is both inaccurate and ridiculous as the major SE's always update and change their robots mechanisms constantly, so anyone claiming their experts means they think so in their own minds. Also, stay away from those SEO people who want to charge you $1,000 per month or more. Their goal is to bleed you dry before you figure out that they really can not help improve your ranking. Stick to providers who will optimize your site for a reasonable fee, like us. Blatant self promotion?, yep, it is our blog after all.

Cheers,
sjr

Get your Google AdWords pay-per-clicks FREE!

by steven j., antRoar internet marketing services

A new breakthrough secret is all you now need in order to get your Google AdWords pay-per-clicks FREE!

A gentleman from New York discovered what he calls an "oversight" on the part of 99.9% of all marketers that allows him to get otherwise paid-for advertising at Google as well as all other search engines that allow sponsored ads.

And no, nothing about his "secret" is illegal - nor does it require that you know someone on the "inside" at Google, Yahoo, MSN, Overture and others.

Instead, the New Yorker boasts proudly "...this is something that I caught onto just before 2000 when there was so much search engine craze running around, and started doing small just to test things at first ... but which I later expanded on after getting the hang of it."

This same fellow went on to start and operate sixteen separate online companies selling everything from pet food, DVDs, children's toys & games, books, software, and sold not only his own manufactured products but became an affiliate for other web businesses - all the while applying his mastermind secret.

Over the course of nearly eight years the New Englander confesses "I've actually gotten over $87 million in advertising that using my secret I never had to pay for ... and the largest share of which was more recently in Google pay-per-clicks as well as other forms of pad advertising at search engines ... all of which I got for free ..."

So powerful is his secret that he's able to monopolize any niche online, and can always secure the top premium spots just above the usual organic results featured at most search engines.

He still has to set up an account with the search engines - but after applying his secret he is removed from having to pay for all the costs otherwise involved.
Again, nothing about his secret is either illegal or robs from the search engines.

One spokesperson from one of the most popular search engines said chuckling after being made privy to this amazing secret "Wow! Ha! This is really unique ... and in my expert opinion it would only serve to enhance and bring more business to us at [name of search engine withheld for legal & confidentiality reasons] and not cause us to lose business in the slightest. Amazing!"

The northerner revealed that in this nearly eight years' period of time since applying his secret he's done well over $300 million in sales revenue with a most diverse line of products, and most recently in the last two years netted nearly $166 million after really "buckling down and pressing my secret to its fullest potential."

Now to everyone else's fortune, the city slicker is releasing his secret for getting an unlimited amount of pay-per-click ads to the general public. But he's not promising any of us for how long.

A bit of an eccentric, the gentleman says "We'll see just how long I can make it available before it saturates things."

One famous public web guru pointed out that although this man may gain economically more so as a result of the publication of his secret "he's already so amazingly rich that whether he continues or discontinues its sale will neither make nor break the man, but not grabbing it for yourself while it's still available could prove disastrous for you as you may only have one chance, and a very limited one at that, to get this."

It is currently available at: Get Google Ads Free

...so you may want to head on over there now and get it.

It's in a very easily readable format and is quickly and readily understood and mastered by anyone with even a 4th grade reading level.

While you're there, why not scroll down and review for yourself the huge successes others are now having with this incredible breakthrough in targeted advertising now made freely available to the rest of us?

To your success,

Online Marketing Vs Business Strategies

by Steven J., antRoar Marketing

I May 2006 one of our clients requested that we supply an intensive Business Strategy outlining our objectives and methods for increasing their brand and customer signups. We did all the research combining "live" interviews with their customers for a better detailed assessment of their requirements.

We dutifully analysed all the data collected, spent a couple of days creating the presentation and arranged a meeting with the CEO and upper management to digest our Business Strategy Report. During the meeting, a few of the upper management people were somewhat confused when we showed that a real benefit would be had if our client deployed a PPC (Pay Per Click) campaign to induce new customers to their services.

We explained that the cost per click for the Google, Yahoo & MSN campaign measured a few cents (0.75) per click. This was met with absolute distain and some laughter for added measure. We asked what the problem was and to our surprise, were told that our clients intent was to run a $1 Million advertising campaign through the mass media, including T.V., radio and news print.

This was for us an eye opener to say the least. Our clients business ran online for the express purpose to sign up new and interested people online, for further online catalogues to be sent to them. From all our research we explained that form their current database of customers 98% of them had used the internet to find our clients business, so it stood to reason that deploying effective online marketing strategies would capture more potential customers as opposed to a mass media campaign. Our client was not listening.

They didn't want to discuss or entertain our online marketing strategy. In fact, one week after our meeting they pulled the plug with us and decide to go it alone with their own online strategy and campaigns. Ok by us. One thing we deem essential is an open and constructive joint participation with management and staff to focus on using the best possible marketing strategy for the best possible outcomes, based on hard facts and analysis. Of course we are not alone in this concept.

Fast forward to August 2007.

We received a call for our old client wanting to discuss the possibility of engaging us as their preferred online marketing agent. We declined of course as our past experience with them was still fresh in our minds, we do have very good long memories and their new manager understood. He understood so well that he explained that their $1 million mass media campaign turned out to be $2.25 million and the results were, well, business breaking, as in, they went broke.

He further explained that their business strategy at that time was conceived and researched by the CEO's friends in business at the footy club association. He suggested that perhaps, in a knowing way, the money would of been better spent following our advice in the first place, to which we agreed whole heartedly.

The upshot is that although an online marketing business can only suggest or recommend strategies based on research and analysis of both their clients business and actual statistics of customer movement online, the actual deployment "ok" could be left to someone that has no interest or internet savvy as it were. In these cases it's best for the online marketing business to exclude itself from any involvement with any business that structures itself in an ego based Highmark content on flexing mussel rather than brains.

So the question is, Does online marketing complement business strategies or does online marketing strictly tend to only online businesses that know the industry and medium?
